Genova Boji Water Softener High Capacity Softener; 5"" X 36"" Description

Genova Boji Water Softener High Capacity Softener; 5"" X 36"" . Softens your water supply; yielding water that tastes fresher; is less corrosive to onboard plumbing and leaves fewer unsightly stains and water spots. Consists of a PVC cylinder containing a special Ion Exchange Resin that attracts hard substances in water (iron; calcium; etc.) and removes them as the water passes through. No moving parts. Installed in-line. Complete kit includes the Boji Softener; a prefilter housing with activated carbon filter; 36"" hose to connect Boji to prefilter; 3/4"" hose fittings to plumb into water supply and molded integral feet. Provides a lifetime of use; but must be ""regenerated"" periodically using water softener salt cubes (available at hardware and home supply stores) . Two sizes: Standard; which softens up to 2;000 gallons; and High-Capacity; which softens up to 5;000 gallons prior to regeneration (actual amount of water softened depends upon ""hardness"" of water) .
